The fun day and dog show at Flore went very well, the rain held off for most of the day and everyone seemed to thoroughly enjoy themselves. My children entered Emee and Lilly in for best rescue, waggiest tail and a few others. They both won second place in the Junior handler category so I was very proud of both the dogs and children. £1500 was raised for Animals in Need/Maxicare.

We had a lovely holiday in south Devon last week. We stayed on a camping site with our tourer caravan just on the edge of dartmoor near Ashburton. The site Parkers Farm was very nice, it is on a working farm and quite a small site but great for children and very dog friendly and very near to lots of great walks and places to visit. The weather was'nt quite so pleasing!, rained most of the time but we did get one sunny day to go to the beach.

We have welcomed two new dogs to the dotty house this week

This is Alfie, he is a chocolate lab who will be 1 next week

And this is Sydney, she is a American bulldog (possibly crossed with a boxer!) who is 10 months old.

I am very proud of my children who ran the 'Race for Children' at the weekend (and me I hasten to add!). It was 1.7 miles and they ran almost all the way. We have raised £65 for children with Leukemia. If you have not yet paid your sponsor money please do so asap.
